Refund Policy

Short version: if SmackFart doesn't work for you, we'll refund you. Which path you use depends on where you bought it.

App Store purchases (iPhone, iPad, Mac via the App Store)

Apple is the merchant of record for anything bought through the App Store, so refunds are handled by Apple — not by us. Go to reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with the Apple ID you used for the purchase, and file a refund request under SmackFart. Apple usually responds within 48 hours.

We can't process or influence App Store refunds from our side, but if Apple denies your request and you think something is broken in the app, email help@smackfart.com and we'll help you troubleshoot or escalate.

Direct Mac download purchases (smackfart.com via Paddle)

When we might decline a refund

We honor every legitimate 14-day request. We may decline if:

Merchant of record

Paddle (Paddle.com Market Ltd., United Kingdom) is the merchant of record for direct smackfart.com purchases. Their own refund terms supplement ours: paddle.com/legal/refund-policy. Paddle processes the payment, pays sales tax / VAT where required, and issues your receipt. We never see your card number.

Chargebacks

Please email us first. Chargebacks cost us money regardless of the outcome and take weeks to resolve. If we have 14 days and an email, you'll have your money back faster than a bank dispute would deliver it.
