These terms apply to your use of the SmackFart app on iOS, iPadOS, and macOS, and to the smackfart.com website. Buying, installing, or using the app means you agree to them.

The app

SmackFart is a prank sound app. It plays fart sounds on demand or in response to motion, taps, and (on macOS) keyboard or pointer events. You are responsible for how, when, and on whom you use it.

The Pro unlock

• App Store version ($4.99): governed by Apple's Standard End User License Agreement and your Apple ID. Refunds go through Apple.
• Direct Mac download ($9.99, via Paddle): one perpetual license per purchase. 14-day money-back guarantee — email us. Paddle is the merchant of record.
• Purchases made outside Apple's App Store (i.e., Paddle direct downloads) do not unlock the App Store version and vice-versa. See Support.

Don't do these things

• Don't reverse-engineer, repackage, or redistribute the app.
• Don't use the Evidence Vault to record people who haven't agreed to being recorded. You are responsible for complying with your local recording laws.
• Don't use SmackFart to harass, intimidate, or disturb people who have asked you to stop. Prank with consent.
• Don't trigger the app in places that prohibit loud audio or require quiet (hospitals, flights, funerals, religious services, classrooms during exams, etc.).

Disclaimer

SmackFart is provided as-is, without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the app, including but not limited to: embarrassment, lost friendships, spilled drinks, missed meetings, pulled back muscles from laughing, or any disciplinary action resulting from a prank going sideways.

Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will bump the "Last updated" date and be announced in the app release notes. Continued use after a change means you accept the new terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the state where the app publisher is incorporated. Any dispute will be resolved in that jurisdiction.
